The Rutgers division of ASME is dedicated to helping engineering students obtain hands-on, practical experience while keeping things fun and informative. ASME holds its meetings and special events on Busch Campus. The events include things such as:
In our meetings, students are informed of possible guest lecturers, tours, and any fun or exciting news in the world of engineering. The meetings are also a great place to showcase your engineering knowledge as well as your competitive side. With competitions being held at general meetings, they are a great way to improve on design skills. Also important, meetings and events are a great way to meet new people and make connections.
Anyone can join ASME - we encourage all levels of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering students (and engineering students in general) to come check out the club at one of our general meetings. We meet every other week on Monday night from 8:30-9:30 PM in the BCC room 174. You can see when our events are on our calendar on the "Events" page. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to check out the "About us" page and email one of the e-board members.
